Kamie turned 6 months old yesterday! I have been looking forward to and dreading this day all at the same time. She has grown so much and is doing so much more than even a month ago. BUT...my baby is growing up. :( We have truly been blessed with a wonderful little angel! God gave us a special package when he gave us Kamie! She is such a good girl. She is happy almost all the time. She sleeps 9-10 hours a night. She loves to play with just about anyone or anything. She cries when she is hungry or tired and that is about it. WOW! We are blessed! She has been sick for the last two weeks and other than being a little fussy in the evenings (and the runny nose, cough, etc) you can't even tell. The doctor even said that he couldn't believe how happy she is for being as sick as she is. We think she is going to be one that really loves life!
So this past month Kamie has mastered saying "dada" over and over. She says it for everything, but Daddy says its just because she is thinking about him all the time. :) We will let him think that. She loves eating solids. It took her no time at all to master this task. She LOVES her food! She can sit up for short periods of time (a few seconds) without any help. She will roll from belly to back over and over and over, but still needs a little pull to get from back to belly. Her favorite toys are definitely her exersaucer and daddy's remote. ***If anyone has seen a toy remote, please let me know. We have been looking for one.*** She also loves to play on the floor with her elephant, frogs, and books. She likes to sit at the computer with me and "email" Nana and Poppy. She has also called them on my phone. :) She loves anything that can go in her mouth. We keep thinking she will be teething soon, but I think she just likes to chew on things!
Each month seems to go by faster than the month before. I can't even imagine celebrating her 1 year birthday. But, it will be here before we know it. Thank you to all of our friends and family who love Kamie and have enjoyed the past 6 months with us! Here are a few pictures of all the fun we have had over the past month!
