10 Months!

Here we are again, celebrating another wonderful month with Kamie! We are definitely getting too close to a year....very scary for us! I miss the tiny baby that laid in our arms all day, but I love the excitement I see on Kamie's face now when I come home from work! What a difference 10 months makes. She is not a baby at all anymore. She is acting like a big girl, playing with big girl toys, communicating like a big girl, eating like a big girl, and even looking like a big girl. Kamie has really let her "personality" come out this month. :) We are no longer guessing as to what she wants; she lets us know (and everyone around us too). We have our hands full with this little girl, but we wouldn't trade her for the world! She is the best thing that has ever happened to Nate and I. I pray everyday that God will use her "colorful personality" for His good some day. I can't wait to see what He has in store for her.

Here are a few of Kamie's favorites for the month -

• She loves playing peek-a-boo with her blankie!
  
• She loves to peek around the corner when Daddy comes home!
  
• She loves playing with balls! (She is very good at catch.)
  
• She still likes playing with magazines.
  
• She now loves Nana's rolling toy! (Last month she was afraid of it.)
  
• She loves her train that spins balls!
  
• She loves to pull off people's glasses!
  
• She loves to empty her diaper bag!
  
• She loves to help me fold (or should I say unfold) clothes!
  
• She loves music! She has recently started waving her arms and moving up and down when someone sings or she hears music. (If You're Happy and You Know It is a fav)
  
• She is starting to enjoy books, especially her singing books. (She wouldn't let me get past page 2 of ANY book last month.)
  
• She loves Chica (the chicken) from the Sunny Side Up show on Sprout!
  
• She still enjoys her excersaucer and jumperoo! She gets very excited to use her excersaucer because that means she gets to play with Daddy in the garage while he lifts weights.
  
• She loves to be out with a lot of people!
• She still loves to be outside!
  
• She still loves to swim/take a bath!
  
• She loves to bang the door against the door stop and make it come back to her! :) (I know...a little dangerous.)
  
• She LOVES food!!!

As you can see, Kamie loves life! She is very perceptive of what is going on around her and amazes us at the things she picks up on.

Here are a few of Kamie's not-so-favorites for the month -

• She doesn't like to be in her car seat (especially when she is hot).
  
• She doesn't like to share her toys!
  
• She doesn't like being told "no"!
  
• She still doesn't like to have her diaper changed!
  
• She doesn't like to sit still for any length of time!

She is very good at expressing her feelings and there is no doubt when she doesn't like something! We are just thankful that she is very happy almost all of the time!
