Friday night was Nate's Christmas party for his shift and we didn't think Kamie would have much fun so we decided to have Nana and Poppy watch her. We knew we would be out late so Nate suggested we let Kamie spend the night. Other than a couple of hours with Nana or Mamaw or while I am at work, Kamie has never been away from us. I didn't know if I was ready. I actually didn't decide to let her until the very last minute. I went over every scenario in my head at least 20 times. What if she gets sick? What if she can't sleep? What if she keeps Nana and Poppy up? What is she thinking about my leaving her? You get the idea! :) I had no worries that Nana and Poppy could handle it, but I didn't know if I could handle her being away. It all turned out great though. Nate and I even got to sleep in this morning!! :)

This was also a special night for K because Auntie Patsy flew home from college. K got to visit the new airport with Nana and Poppy and greet Auntie Patsy.
