Being on a tight budget, Nate and I do not go and do a lot of things. We have found that we can stay at home and just enjoy each others company watching TV. We actually LOVE to watch TV together! Most people think that it becomes a crutch and you don't actually communicate with each other, etc, etc. But, I beg to differ! We talk all through our shows, we talk about our shows, and we even call friends and talk about shows that we watch together.
Well, all of this to say that last night I experienced my all time favorite family moment! Most people will think, "Awe, that is so sad that this is your favorite family moment." But it was so precious to me! Kamie is not a cuddly child, she never has been. So I cherish any cuddling that I get. Last night Nate and I were sitting on the couch watching a favorite show and Kamie was almost ready for bed. She actually climbed up (ok...held her hands up to me) on the couch and snuggled between Nate and I. She just put her head against me and propped her feet up on Nate. She watched a little tv then looked up at us then watched a little more tv. This went on for about 10 minutes!! It was just the 3 of us, our happy little family, enjoying some much needed time together.
I tried to capture the moment on camera, but as soon as I reached for the camera, K was up and wanting to know what was going on. (That is the normal K.) Here are a few cute pictures anyway.
