Busy, Busy Weekend!

This past weekend was incredibly busy! We started with celebrating my birthday with Nate's parents on Thursday evening. We went to Olive Garden (yum!). Nate ended up having the day off on Friday so we were able to spend the day together with Kamie. We went to lunch, went for a drive, looked at houses, and played at the park with Kamie.

First thing Saturday morning, we left for my parents house to help with my brother's wedding. It would be an understatement to say there was a lot to do! Nate was a huge help by taking care of Kamie while I helped set up for the reception. Saturday evening we had the rehearsal dinner at my parents house and my brother surprised me with a birthday party. It was very sweet of him and Jackie to think of me during their weekend! When we got up Sunday morning and realized it had rained, we panicked a little. (outside reception) After working our butts off to get everything ready, it was finally time to get ready for the wedding. Again, Nate was a huge help in taking care of Kamie during all of this!
The wedding was beautiful and everything went incredibly well! Jackie and Cory both looked great. Kamie was so exhausted from the weekend that she slept through the whole wedding. (I want to add that she has never fallen alseep anywhere outside of her bed or the car seat.) As beautiful as the wedding was, the reception was even more beautiful! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful evening. We praised the Lord over and over for giving us great weather. We can't wait to see Cory and Jackie when they get back from their honeymoon!

Uncle Cory and Auntie Jackie, we love you both very much and we are very happy for you! We are so excited to have a new person added to our family. We are looking forward to making many family memories with you. We are also excited because we won't be the only ones bothered to have all the grandkids now! Keep Christ first in your lives and in your marriage and it will last forever! Love you tons!
