We were blessed to enjoy another wonderful trip to Sanibel, FL this year! My parents also invited Cory and Jackie to join us this year. My grandparents were also down there. It was so much fun having the WHOLE family together!! Was is a little hectic at times? Yes, but is was sooooo worth it! Thanks Mom and Dad for sharing your vacation with us!
Last year Kamie was only 6 months old and still took 2 naps a day. We had fun with her, but she still didn't do too much. This year was a whole different story!! :) There wasn't anything Kamie DIDN'T do! She absolutely LOVED to dig in the sand on the beach. She also LOVED digging through the tiny shells that were at the top of the beach. (You know, the ones that cut your feet when you walk across them.) She enjoyed the pool, but was terrified of the ocean. From the time she woke up (in Mamaw and Papaw's room) until we MADE her go to bed, she wanted to go "side" (outside). She would sucker anyone who would take her. (usually Auntie "Adda" aka Jackie or Gramps or Mamaw) She loved being free and able to run around. She also loved that our condos had a cat that ran around outside. She would chase that thing everywhere! :)
I must say that Auntie Jackie spoiled her rotton this trip!! Anything K asked her to do, she did it (at least once!) Kamie looooves her Auntie Jackie! Mamaw and Papaw also did their fair share of spoiling. They are putty in this little girl's hands. :) Thank you all so much for a wonderful trip and for all the fun we had together!!! Be prepared for LOTS of pictures. :)
