"Uh-oh" seems to be the words of the day lately! When I say I can't turn my back for 2 minutes, that is an understatement! Kamie has been in to everything. I don't consider her being bad just being curious and exploring new things. (This is what I tell myself after I've cleaned up the mess and laughed a little!)
Last week I actually had to call poison control for the first time. I was getting ready and she was being very quiet, which I've come to learn is not always a good thing. When I went to check on her, she was in her room playing with my reed diffuser. Apparently she picked it up off my table in the living room and thought it looked like fun. Not only did she dump it all over her rug, but we think she probably drank a little too. (hence the sliminess all over her mouth and face) No worries though, poison control was more worried about the fact that I left a reed diffuser in a child's reach than the fact that my child could have drank some. :) After getting washed up and having a "talk" about mommie's things, all was well!
Playing with the "ticks"!
(Yes, she took her shirt off. Not sure why she is sucking in her belly!)
So I have put up all reed diffusers, and even shut a few doors while I am not watching Kamie with both eyes. BUT, while I was in the shower this morning, K thought she would explore another new place....the trash can. I just threw away a container of cupcakes this morning and apparently she saw me do it. She definitely helped herself (and Pixie and her baby) to some cupcakes! There were 4 in the trash when I started my shower. When I got out there were NONE! :) Kamie had 2 in her hands, with all the icing licked off of course! And 2 were missing. Pixie had cupcake all over her and Kamie led me to her room where there was a "mess." It was cupcake crumbs. When I asked her who made the mess, she very politely said it was Pixie. The baby had yellow icing on her mouth so I should be proud of K for sharing her cupcakes.
Again, after clean up was over, how can you not laugh a little. I am sure there will be many more "uh-ohs" to come!!
Just watching cartoons and enjoying a cupcake, or two!

I can definitely relate! Isabelle gets into everything as well, but it was my nephew who got a hold of the reed diffuser at my sister's house. She has called me at least twice for the number to poison control because of something her son got into that he shouldn't have. I keep the doors shut to the rooms in our house since we spend most of our time in the living room and kitchen. And I have to put Isabelle in her crib with some toys while I'm taking a shower! I'm not that brave! But she does pretty well with most things. It sure is an adventure with a toddler, though!
OH MY GOODNESS! Miss K what will you do next?! YOu crack me up and are sure keeping mommy on her toes! I was laughing out loud! Love you K!
