Visiting Daddy

As I am sure most of you know, Nate has been away at Police Academy all summer. It has been a very long 3+ months, but we are nearing the end and still surviving! :) Nate (along with everyone else at academy) has been sick so Kamie and I made a trip over tonight to take him (and one of his friends) some medicine. As soon as I told K that we were going to see Daddy, she went crazy!!! She said "Daddy PoPo" about 1 million times before we finally got there. :) She has missed her Daddy a ton this summer. We can't wait until July 31!!!! Here are a couple of pics of Kamie and Daddy during our VERY short visit.

I must say it felt a little like visiting someone in prison. (not that I really know what that feels like) We are only allowed to come during certain hours. This is why we have never visited before. You have to check in and out and get a badge to wear. You can only sit in the cafeteria. I'm sure there are other rules that I don't even know about. It was all a little odd, but I'm so glad we got to see Nate. Even if he was sick and it was only for 25 min. It made K's night for sure!!
We are so proud of all your hard work, Honey!! We love you and miss you tons!!
